The company has a clear focus on analysis but is in need of linking all customer touch-points and understanding of customer behaviour to ultimately deliver a stellar customer journey. Questions they constantly ask themselves are; how do we find the customer; how do we contact and interact with the customer; and how do we get

them to stay once we have them on-board?

This is a broad role that spans the entire organization with many areas of responsibility and although they are going to have an increased digital focus and invest in digital channels, they need an analyst that can look at the whole spectrum of marketing channels, not only digital. This gives the role complexity, and the person should also focus on following up on campaigns results and give the supporting teams insights to help find the best way forward.


  • As a Marketing Data Analyst, you measure the current profitability, looking at key factors, improve campaign efficiency, analyse shopping behaviour and transactions to optimize business profitability
  • Work with the ongoing effort to analyse customer behaviour in digital channels and give proposals to the market team on how make improvements and change market strategy
  • Identify changes in market trends and identify new customer groups and ways to reach them
  • Present your creative solutions in a way that makes it easy for the rest of the marketing team to implement the results of your analysis
  • Based on your own ideas and wishes from the business, you proactively run the work of measurement and analysis forward
  • Have the ability and interest to think "next step", not just generate numbers
  • Responsible for activities in Norway and Sweden


  • Manage and follow up on specific campaigns and reporting, including evaluation,
  • follow-up, analysis and insight of marketing campaigns
  • Working with web analytics of digital channels and flows with the aim to achieve the best possible customer experience and conversion
  • Pass on your analysis further in to the organisation to increase the knowledge and understanding of the customers behaviour and how it affects the business
  • Compile, draw conclusions, analyse patterns and trends linked to the customer journey Follow-up of segmentation, analyse data and generate visual reports
  • The analyst is responsible for looking at the whole market strategy, ie. finding the most optimal market mix - what works / does not work / works less good


  • Commercial experience of similar work in a leading company working with analysis and digital media
  • Experience in working with marketing analysis, competition analysis, trend analysis, market segmentation and heat mapping
  • Industry is not important but they would love to see someone with a background from a digitally present company
  • Proven experience in working with conversion optimization, A/B testing, web analytics and implementation of data measuring points
  • Very good knowledge with web analytical tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Google Optimize
  • Experience with programming in SAS Base / Enterprise Guide, alternatively experience with SPSS or SQL programming, as well as Business Objects or similar reporting tools (such as QlikView, Microsoft BI) or similar is merit
